Rochester Valley Trail “Match Me” Fund Raising Campaign
Rochester-Randolph Area Sports Trail Alliance (RASTA) is building a multi-use trail network for mountain biking and hiking behind the U.S. Forest Service Headquarters in Rochester.
We need to raise $15,000 in funds for our portion of this project. The Green Mountain Valley Business Community is providing a $1,000 “Match Me” challenge for the first $1,000 donated to help us kick off this campaign. Please donate now and double the value of your contribution.
Please make your checks to RASTA and write “match me” on your check. Mail contributions to PO Box 217 Rochester, VT 05767. Donations to RASTA are tax deductible. RASTA is a 501 (C)(3) tax exempt organization as a chapter of the Vermont Mountain Biking Association.
Work has already begun on mapping, permitting, layout and construction of the first 2 miles of the approximately 3.5 mile loop trail to the height of land with terrific views of the White River Valley below. Future phases will allow this network to connect to Rochester North Hollow and provide a 5 mile trail loop back to Rochester Village and beyond!
